− Little minus: the rooms had no minibar (fridge) to cool stuff.
Luxury on the edge of a forest
10.0Hotel Cap Polino is a short walk from the Pinneburg train ... 10-15 minutes and an easy route to follow. Behind it is a huge city forest that is well looked after and very pleasant to stretch your legs in. The actual hotel gave us a warm welcome and staff suggested somewhere to eat as we visited on Sunday when their Deck 48 restaurant and bar was closed. (The recommendation was the Elena Greek restaurant which was just right for us). The hotel was immaculate with a smoothly operating lift, very comfy beds, a thoughtfully designed ensuite, a pleasant view, but the real stand out was the breakfast and the theme of being on a luxury steamer from the early 1900s. There is also a courtyard within the hotel with a sweet little vending machine. As a person I am used to a kettle in a hotel room but instead they had bottled water and a bottle opener. I really liked this novelty.
