6.0Cottage on an old farm, complete with large sitting room & kitchen. Needs work; run-down in some respects —e.g., no hot water in kitchen, front door doesn’t always lock & when it does can be hard to open. Clean, quiet, relaxing. A place to live for a bit, not to be catered to. No amenities—e.g. no phone, hair dryer, room service, maid service, etc. breakfast mostly pastries, packaged juices, nothing cooked (eggs, bacon, etc.). Proprietress Martine very friendly and eager to help any way she can. Pretty good English and quite chatty.
