− The property was split over 3 locations which we weren’t aware of when booking. Also wasn’t aware our room was right at the top, in the attic.

The location and cleanliness

− There are 3 steep flights of stairs to get to the lux apartments. We did not know this. Thankfully my party were able to lift heavy suitcases up and down without too much stress. This needs to be highlighted on booking.com to let interested parties know. Also, breakfast is not at hotel itself but with partnered restaurants. We were only told of Feel Green restaurant and had to go there every morning. The food was OK but wouldn't have gone daily if we were told about other places we could have gone to.

Pros - good central location close to the port and many restaurant and shopping options - the pool area is very well maintained- clean with plenty of fresh towels and space to relax - staff were very kind and helpful when we had a noise problem - air conditioning in rooms meant our stay was comfortable

− Cons - they actually have two locations which isn’t clearly stated here on booking, so there’s the location with the pool, which you have to go up a few steps from street level to find, which has a couple of rooms. And then there’s another location on krizeva ulica which is where I stayed. Our room was at the top of SIX flights of narrow stairs with no lift access which was very difficult to manoeuvre several times a day. However I will mention that there was a member of staff who helped to carry our luggage up and down these steps for us, which we appreciated. - only one key for the room despite being in a double room. It’s also the same key for the front door, so if one person was staying behind and another was going, it’s a bit of a gamble to see if another guest has locked the downstairs door meaning you’d have to go all the way back up to get the key to unlock it and let yourself out. This also comes across as a bit of a fire hazard to me - no soundproofing, so every noise from the street and the people in the room next door was heard throughout our entire stay - rooms are quite small with not even enough space to open out a suitcase on the floor - rooms need a deep clean - no view from windows - no ventilation in bathroom - tissue cannot be flushed down toilets but there’s no bidet

It is good to know that you can use the pool, even if it's apart from your living place. The staff is kind and responsive.

− Unlike our last stay at this hotel, we received a much smaller room, called a lux room. There was a lack of cleanliness (especially in deep cleaning and bedding), which upset us. They cleaned the room and changed the towels even though we did not ask them, since we stayed for only 2 days. The room was in the attic without an elevator, hot and noisy all day and night.
