10.0Fayetteville was the last stop on a return trip visiting family in PA and NJ. Drove up from Sarasota. MT Rose fit my criteria for comfort, quiet, and low cost. Bonus discovery: I got the best cup of coffee of the road trip out of the humble little drip pot in the lobby. Great value, quiet location, and very likely regular stop for this annual trip
Mt. Rose is exactly what a great hotel used to be! Clean, priced fairly and no uncharging for an amenity like an iron. I

Okay, if you want a very reasonable good night sleep but don’t expect much else.
7.0The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Front desk receptionist was pleasant.
− The location - the area felt remote and a bit unsafe. Bare bones, no amenities (no coffee maker or microwave in room, no morning breakfast) besides a quiet room and felt a little scared parking behind building. No staff around most of my stay. Also, the carpet seemed unclean so I didn’t want to go barefoot. Overall, the photos give it a hotel presence, but it felt like a motel.
