Worst hotel ever - scamming guests
1.0Nothing positive to say about this hotel at all - I booked it for our dinner guests and when they arrived they said that the room wasn’t available despite being a confirmed booking on here leaving them stranded The hotel made no attempt to contact in me advance. The hotel refused to acknowledge and accept there was a reservation and said we should have contacted them beforehand. Then they asked us to cancel the booking on Booking.com so they can offer a different room that they had available at a much higher price and to pay them directly This I believe is in breach of Booking.com policies and was not only embarrassed for us and our guests but also stressful just before going out for my wife’s birthday dinner
− The staff were rude and unhelpful They said the room wasn’t available, refusing to honour our booking and then offered my guests a room at a much higher price asking us to cancel our booking and for them to pay the hotel directly The room had so many things damaged and broken I can’t list them The breakfast was terrible and brought in a disposable cup Overall this was a terrible experience for our guests and has embarrassed us
