9.0Very flexible with regard to checking in and out. Very good and quite location in the centre of Kigali. Close to good restaurants.
− No possibility to buy food or drinks on the premises.
Overpriced and underwhelming experience
4.0I (over)payed in advance for 4 nights, and was very disappointed immediately upon arrival. The place was pretty much empty, not a hotel per se, just a minimum of personell service, home-filtered water in reused already opened water bottles with glue-on labels, several mosquitos in the room, dead insects on the floors. Eerie atmosphere all over the place. I left after two nights, never looked back. An expensive and unpleasant experience from beginning to start.

A little treasure in the heart of Kigali.
10.0What a little treasure the Hotel Le Garni is! Nestled in the heart of the city, yet so quiet and peaceful. The restaurants, shops, supermarket, churches, banks, and CBD are literally a 5 minute walk away. It was so nice to sit overlooking the pool for breakfast. My room had a view of the pool which I actually took a swim in! The driver for the hotel picked me up from the airport and he took me on a day’s tour of Kigali and to different attractions. Plus on another day to my beer brewing experience. He was fabulous even taking me to the chaotic bus station and organising my International bus! The communication with me was great. I want to thank all the beautiful staff for making my stay in Kigali so special. From Irene, in reception, the lovely housekeepers to Donut the chef.
