Pretty and with period detailing in the centre of the old city. Insecure feeling. Bad organisation
7.0The telephone receptionist was helpful and professional. The room was pretty, modern and with period details like the original victorian fireplaces. The street is period also and in the middle of the city—very convenient and nice
− Like a lot of reviewers I did NOT receive a code by email to enter the property. The fact they know this and haven’t done anything about it is grossly incompetent. The master key system that allowed me to access the lobby door and the room door gives the impression anyone with a key for the other rooms could access mine which has disconcerted your customers quite rightly. You should explain your terrible and disconcerting systems to your customers to reassure them they are secure in a strange city.

5.0Location was great. We also liked the extra space.
− I did not know there was no reception desk when I booked this. We arrived several hours early via train and would have liked to drop our bags somewhere at reception to hold until the room opened. Not having a reception on site also meant that when we asked for another fan due to the extreme heat, we couldn't get one until someone brought one the next day from another property. We are thankful they brought it, but that first night was brutal with one small fan. The ceiling fan was not working, which would have helped a lot. Also not working was the safe - it was showing an error message. Bottom line, fix the ceiling fan and the safe and we'd have a higher rating for this property.

− The cleanliness was not up to standard. The floor was not properly cleaned, the bed was not made up appropriately. No sound proofing, i was able to clearly hear the neighbours.
