Friendly hosts, great location, simple but decent breakfast - good value but has some cons

Let me give a breakdown to help fellow travelers. Nana and Beso are your hosts (and dog, Alpha!). They are welcoming and friendly. If you need a transfer to any other part of Georgia, Beso can arrange it. The location is excellent and near everything. It's a short uphill from the main road, but not difficult. There are two guest rooms on the ground floor, and one on the second floor. The owners use both floors, but they sleep on the second floor. The double room that I booked has a bed, two chairs, a table (great as a desk), and a piece of furniture you can put your clothes and other stuff on. Two hooks on the wall if you want to hang something. One screened window. A heating unit - no A/C, no fan. The bathroom is "private" and for your use only, but it's down the hall, so you still have to walk into the public space in order to use the bathroom. You can't lock the bathroom from the outside -only from the inside. I always had hot water for my shower (it's an automatic water heater that heats the water as you're using it), the wifi always worked. The kitchen is across from the room, the owners use it to cook their meals and you can also use it. My breakfast was a plain omelet, beef filled pelmeni, sliced cucumber/tomato, homemade pancakes, bread, jam, tkemali, coffee, tea. The pelmeni is store bought, but the pancakes, jam, tkemali are made by Nana (she makes the BEST pancakes, and the jam and tkemali are also delicious!) There were some cons for me, which I wrote below - but for the price, I can definitely recommend this place as long as you don't expect perfection and you accept the cons.

− The mattress was lumpy and not so comfortable. No blackout curtains. It would be nice to have a small trashcan in the room. There is no air circulation in the room - it would be nice to have a fan. The listing says "soundproofing" but it's actually a noisy place. It was particularly noisy at night with the sound of people talking - even after midnight (the family and also the neighbors). You can also hear the family walking around on the second floor above you. You will hear some dogs barking at night. I had to put in earplugs to sleep. The noise at night was the most uncomfortable for me.

Host gentile ed accogliente. Camera pulita e carina anche se datata. Posizione comoda a visitare la città.

Доброжелательные владельцы, даже немного говорили на русском, все показали, все рассказали, все чистенько, белье не уставшее, кровать удобная, душевая чистая, нам все понравилось! Спасибо!

Приехали на одну ночь транзитом, но смело можно останавливаться дольше. Очень милые люди, вкусный и красивый завтрак, советую брать всем! Номер чистый, есть все необходимое, суперская собака которую можно наглаживать целый день, очень удобные кровати! Если будем когда-то приезжать, то обязательно остановимся именно тут.
