10.0Everything was excellent, only issue was there was a private function on and we were informed the bar would be closed to us after 9pm on the second night! First time ever this has happened and we have stayed in multiple hotels! Guests in the hotel shouldn’t be refused access to the bar at all.
Like living in the Cotswolds
8.0One of only two places to stay in a really charming old England town. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. It is an old building, so no elevator and tight hallways. Mostly great service although a couple of the male workers seemed a bit snobish when we had not made reservations for dinner. There are only a couple of places to eat so if that is a big concern, make sure you have a reservation. We still managed to eat at a pub across the street and at the sister location, the Manor. If you’re visiting the Cotswolds, don’t miss Castlecombe.
