Amazing
10.0The hospitality was unbeatable here at the Carr Manison. The women who runs the bed and breakfast was outstanding and made the whole trip 10x better. Whenever we are back in Galveston we will be staying here again - you cannot beat the price, service, and overall experience here.
I had a very pleasant stay, nice breakfasts, and I enjoyed visiting with the owner
8.0Breakfast was very nice. The owner talked to me about my preferences and honored them.
− The stairs are steep. Better handrails would help. There is a lot of light from the garden lights at night.

6.0Unique place. Rundown but they are trying to restore I think? Doorknob literally fell off when we turned it. Their dogs are running around inside so you have to be careful to not let them out. No shower or blow dryer in the room. Floors filthy and I got a burr in my foot trying to step into the bathtub to rinse my feet off! Lighting terrible unless you open curtains to look out on balcony that is falling apart. Buffet breakfast we were told to be there at 9:30 (several times) at 9:50 we were served a plate with a waffle, a couple of berries, and a sausage link. No buffet! Tea or coffee to drink. Not even regular water or ice. My partner ate both of our plates since I don’t eat waffles or sausage or drink tea or coffee and the waffle was tiny. I would have been fine with water & toast but not available. For the price I could have stayed anywhere else and been far happier. The location was ok but still had to drive to the beach, shopping, cruise terminal, and it was not a safe neighborhood.
