Spectacularly supportive staff!
10.0I was travelling by bicycle and needed somewhere to both store and break down the bike for the flight home. Ianus Guest House was clean, comfortable and keenly priced, and offered bike storage. The real bonus was the staff, who went way above and beyond to help with booking large taxis, and packing the bike, in addition to advising on travel into Rome and sourcing packing materials. There are good local eateries within walking distance.
− The only downside to the guest house is the time distance from central Rome. There is an excellent bus service, but Rome's traffic is appalling, especially during rush hours. If you can avoid rush hour travel, then it's 35-40 minutes to central Rome via a variety of buses which leave from almost outside. But in morning and evening rush hours, double that.
