1.0The rooms were really spacious, but the decor was horrible and outdated
− Not clean, I had to come in the day of my arrival to clean the property. The property owner okayed this. The water pressure was very low. I had no Wi-Fi. The owner was trying to figure out things. The day of this was not acceptable.

Gambian Spacious Retreat
7.0Round the clock friendly security was good. Lots of space. Some amenities are good. Well furnished modern property. Beautiful building with lots of birdlife nearby. Close to shops and main road leading to Senegambia
− Very dusty on arrival.All wardrobe and draws required cleaning which we had to do ourselves. Bathroom needed cleaning lots of cobwebs. No lock on the master bedroom bathroom door. No hand towels provided. No mosquito nets provided for each room as stated. Inadequate kitchen utensils for the amount of guests. One fork between four people. We had to eat out of a biscuit tin as there wasn't enough bowls. Cracked cups. TV upstairs not working. We raised this with the sight manager who didn't respond until 13 days into our stay. Next to a wetland so lots of mosquito es. Poor access to property, many taxis refused to drive up the rocky road . Solarium was unusable due to filthy state and no furniture. Balcony with no seating and the one set was removed! Matrasses on beds were disgusting! No protecters . A checklist for the cleaners would greatly improve this lovely villa. Stock checks after each guests to ensure adequate resources would be useful. E.g. cutlery, clocks, lights, towels, bins...
