Hotel beyond my expectations!
10.0During our stay in Sri.Lanka we were in 4 different hotels, but none was as super as this one. First of all, the contact with the owner of the apartment on a big plus. If we had any questions he always wrote back quickly. He also agreed to move the check-out time, because we had a later flight, for which we are very grateful. The room itself was very nice. It did not smell of dampness, everything was clean. All the equipment in the apartment was in working order. In addition, there are also available plates, glasses, cutlery, kettle. The host also took care of access to potable water! There were no ants or other bugs in the room. The vicinity of the apartment also deserves a big plus, as there are many bus stops nearby, which can take you to all places on the island. It is also very easy to catch a tuk tuk from this location. If I were to come to Sri Lanka again, I would undoubtedly stay at Chen Villa.
Good to stay a night before flying.
6.0Location was great for the airport. Didn't quite enjoy Negombo itself so for anything else location was irrelevant. Place to sleep, big bed, shower, toilet even mini bar, drinking water and a TV.
− There was damp smell, not too terrible but I wouldn't want to stay for longer than one night. It is a quite common problem in Sri Lanka so nothing surprising there.
Very good stay near Airport
10.0Perfect stay for the last days in Sri Lanka. The room is very clean, bathroom the same. There is also a small kitchenette that is very helpful to prepare a tea. Very comfortable bed, clean bedsheets and very good AC. Everything was very nice for our last 2 nights before leaving Sri Lanka. The host is very welcoming and the place is peaceful, away from the crowded main road. Very close to the airport, which makes a good choice for those who arrive or leave Sri Lanka.
