Perfect location. Adriel showed me around the house and explained the history. It was quiet and close to shops.

− The shower isn’t very convenient and you need to bring your own shampoo, shower gel etc. The breakfast is self serving. But overall it was a nice and relaxed stay.

The owner was nice and wish we could give more stars, but not really up to par.

Beds were very comfortable. Owner was pleasant. Garden and grounds were beautiful. Owner was responsive. Acomódate our very late night arrival.

− Shower and bath tub basically unusable because no shower curtain or mat mats, very difficult to get in or out of tub, head hit ceiling if stand to shower. Mosquito net had many large holes. No hand towel in bathroom. Continually ran out of breakfast food and had to remind owner to replenish. No daily maid service. Constant shortage of coffee and tea. ATM and Yaya shopping center were said to be 10 minute walk but was more like half an hour. Toilet seat not attached to toilet so hard to use. Toaster inconsistent in degree of browning. No trash bag liners in some trash bags. Floors too slippery. No microwave. Last minute new people unexpected in next room. We had not known we wd be sharing part of house. Owner sometimes entered unannounced when we weren’t expecting him.

The property was spotless and was full of character. We had l a lovely stay. Adriel and his daughter were very welcoming and helpful and advised us how to navigate certain things. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, high ceilings with ample storage. The bed was massive and so comfortable. Had the best night's sleep in a very long time. I particularly loved the balcony, which was also spacious and overlooked a stunning garden. The food provided was very much appreciated, especially as we arrived in the early hours.

− Nairobi is cold in late June /July, so having a hot shower in the morning or before bed is a must. The shower in our ensuite room wasn't much more than a trickle and the water was like warm. I had 1 shower over a 3 night stay, because it was too cold. Such a shame, otherwise I would've given full marks.

The location and history of the little place is amazing. It's nothing fancy, but very good value for money, very nice people, and overall a lovely experience.

Tolles altes Haus Tolle Gastgeber

− Wahrscheinlich mein Fehler - I expected a guesthouse with breakfast included. But we had to prepare it of our own, so it didnt meet our expectations. Am sorry
