10.0It was a great location, in the heart of the old city but in a quiet corner. Out host was wonderful, friendly, informative and helpful. Lulu and Oscar (resident dog and cat) were delightful.

10.0L'Echappee Belle is located inside the ancient city walls. It is an incredible location. Jackie our host met us outside the ramparts, helped us park, drove us with our luggage to her home, and also delivered us to our car the morning we left. She provided us with lovely breakfasts and fun conversation. She's full of helpful hints about how to experience Carcossonne.

8.0Excellent location. Pleasant host who is an Australian ex-pat. While we enjoyed our stay at this place, it did not offer any French Immersion experience. We suggest contacting the host in advance for clarification about parking outside the walled city and being picked up to go into the walled city. The tourist information booth did not even know about the hotel guest parking outside of the walled area.
