10.0Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower, and a small kitchenette. It's a good idea to take your own tea, coffee and milk with you. Continental breakfast was good and delivered to our room at the time we requested. A good guide book in English of what to do in the area was left in our room, but perhaps the only disadvantage of the place is that it is quite isolated and a long way from any any restaurants. Overall, a lovely place, and we'd recommended it.

10.0Très bon accueil, hôte chaleureux et qui donnent de bons conseils pour visiter le coin. Le cadre est magnifique avec les chevaux, la vue et le gîte est cosy. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et ouvre l'appétit même si on a pas l'habitude de manger le matin et servi jusque 11 heures. Endroit très calme, on entend pas les autres visiteurs. Un bonus pour la déco de la chambre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

10.0Mon séjour était malheureusement très court mais j’ai énormément apprécié mon temps ici. L’endroit n’étais pas trop loin de la route principale tout en restant intime et calme. Les terrains étaient très beau. La chambre était spacieuse et propre, avec tout ce dont j’avais besoin après une longue journée. J’ai adorer recevoir mon déjeuner au lit le lendemain, une belle attention y fût donner. Bref, je recommande fortement cette établissement!
