Deception in the beautiful Champéry
5.0The location of the hotel is very nice. The breakfast is rich and high quality. The restaurant is good as well.
− The room was very small, without air-condition. Fortunately the room was relatively well shaded, so during the day was no overheated. But in one of the window frame a little family of wasps lived, therefore till the night it was not reasonable to open it... Dustbin was not emptied while we were out (even we had to leave the key at the reception). You will see two photos with an enigmatic question: where could be the toilet? Well, neither the wardrobe, nor the toilet door could be opened entirely, because of the bed. Unorthodox soultion.

− Leider nicht sauber. Glas mit Zigarettenstummel auf dem Balkon. Abgelaufenes Mineralwasser von über einem halben Jahr. Terrasse nicht gewischt, kaputte Bodenplatten. Tische nicht sauber

During winter season there is a regular bus from the center and the train station to Grand Paradis. Outside this period the Guest House du Grand Paradis offers a free shuttle service to and from Champéry Train Station.
Please note that extra beds are only available on request and according to availability.
Unique to this property are its farm animal residents – horses, chickens, ducks and fish! This establishment will also organize private group events for the hotel or restaurant.
Start the day with a local breakfast buffet and kick back later in the afternoon coffee house bar (open in high season) and private restaurant (dinner only) serving both traditional Swiss and Canadian style cuisine.
