10.0An unforgettable stay, made even more special by the wonderful people at Headland House! Waking up each morning to the stunning view of Carbis Bay from such an elegant room would be reason enough to recommend this place—but then comes breakfast. The spread is nothing short of a holiday feast: beautifully prepared, delicious, and served with care. St Ives itself is charming (though do take the seagull warnings seriously—one nearly claimed my flapjack, and possibly a finger!), and while we had a slightly disappointing experience with the service at the Beach Club, everything else was delightful. If it’s even possible to enhance the magic of St Ives, Headland House and its delightful hosts are what does it. They are truly the main reasons we’re already hoping to return.
