10.0Precioso lugar, lleno de detalles, cada cuarto perfectamente bien puesto y con todo lo necesario. La ubicación genial, en el centro de la ciudad, todo caminando. El personal increíblemente amable y cada día nos preparaban un desayuno espectacular. Lo recomiendo mil.

9.0Incredibly attentive staff who even sliced up a jicama I got at one of the markets so that I can enjoy it as an evening snack! They were very sweet and extremely informative. Always available if I needed something, but not hovering, which was great for solo travel.
− The only things that could be improved are (1) better Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms. I like to catch up on emails from bed, and I wasn't able to do that, although it was easily remedied by either going to another part of my room or hanging out in the common area outside, which was lovely. (2) more comfortable seating on the terrace in the upstairs area. There are some string upholstered type chairs there which are fine, but setting up something a little bit more loungy and even putting up some tables would make it more of a comfortable place to spend an evening or watch a sunset.
An absolute dream of a stay!
10.0This place is absolutely fantastic. It’s a house that has been converted to a four room boutique hotel and it is just a dream. There’s such a wonderful vibe here. The staff are so friendly. The food is delicious. The location is fantastic. The rooms are air-conditioned. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back. If this hotel is fully booked try one of their sister hotels also totally stunning.

Casa Carmen the most amazing stay in Oaxaca!
10.0Casa Carmen is the most recomendable stay in Oaxaca. The house is an art museum run by th most incredibly kind and welcoming staff. It was the perfect home away from home. We did not want to leave. I can’t wait to come back to Oaxaca and stay at Casa Carmen again!
Cozy, intimate, chic, off the beaten path gem.
9.0Cozy and intimate. The decor is stunning and the rooms modern, chic and comfortable. The courtyard is a great place to hang out. Breakfast on the one day we could partake was imaginative, well prepared and filling. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
− The location is a little off the Zocalo area, but nothing was long to walk to. Finding the casa was challenging as there is no signage, and the only way to enter is to ring the bell. Some additional amenities on the roof top area would be nice. Would like to see the two other properties in the group.
