10.0View Cottage was a lovely place to stay for our short break. Very well-equipped throughout with a generous supply of handwash, kitchen cleaning products and toiletries. The cottage is an ideal base for exploring this part of Scotland by car and on local walks. The garden may be a bit wild but it attracted lots of birds and we enjoyed watching and listening to them from the comfortable conservatory.

A place for time to enjoy what’s around.
8.0The location although in a town was quite remote not serviced by any village stores etc. Good road network in all directions for trips out. Best bit was views from bedroom window of loch and sunrise.
− The garden could have been a bit tidier, not just for guests but neighbours too. Also if you could ask the cottage in front to just trim some of the foliage the view would have been outstanding
A glorious stay in a fantastic property
9.0A great cottage, in a wonderful location. The conservatory was particularly lovely - a wonderful place to sit and unwind. The property was very comfortable and everything was in excellent condition. Very much appreciated the extremely well equipped kitchen - it makes such a difference to be able to cook with decent utensils and pots and pans. It felt like the owners cared about offering a great experience, and that everything had been through including the addition of maps, a first aid kit, and a very helpful guide to the property and the area. Would definitely love to come here again and would highly recommend View Cottage to others.
