5.0It was absolutely stunning - the home and gardens! Good breakfast. Giant room- lots of space.
− The beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in the mattress. We had to use the duvet as mattress topper. The owners didn't exude hospitality and warmth though their staff were great. It was a heat wave and although unexpected, a fan would have been incredibly valuable as the curtains were left open and the sun baked the room all day. There was no shower, which was ok- but adding an attachment to help wash hair in the bath would be very helpful.

10.0Gorgeous place with really friendly and accommodating staff. The room was huge and well stocked (huge wardrobe, bath robe and towels as well as toiletries and a lovely selection of hot drinks)
− The place was gated, which I may have missed in the description, however a quick chat and they had no issues with me arriving after hours one evening as I was attending a festival near by. Very quickly sorted out

This is a timeless country house, full of charm and character, set against breathtaking scenery that is as soothing for the soul as it is beautiful to behold. To top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared and the perfect start to each day. An unforgettable stay that we would recommend without hesitation.
