10.0My husband and I chose this property as even though I tried to book a year in advance of the 2024 commencement at SUNY Geneseo, everything was booked! We enjoy staying at B & B establishments more than hotel chains, and the 1795 Acorn Inn looked charming. Well, it was beyond charming, and I wish we would've stayed here the fours years our son matriculated at university. Sheryl and staff were so warmly welcoming. The property is lush with abundant, verdant foliage and flora, and the interior is very tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Sheryl has seen to everything, from the incredible comfort of our room (the Wilder Suite) itself and its bed, shower, and large, open bathroom to the comfort and conveniences of the entry and sitting areas that boast a refrigerator stocked with drinks and a place to stow leftovers, water dispenser, Keurig, cookies, coffee for early risers, and a delicious breakfast (The crème brûlée French toast was scrumptious!) served on lovely china and crystal. We are already talking about making another trip up for a weekend getaway! Thank you, Sheryl, for making an already special weekend even more special!

10.0Just about 5 mins from a nice little ski hill. Great dining options but you have to drive a little for some of them. Our favorite dining spot was about 25-30 mins from the inn. The downtown with shops was about 20 mins away. The inn was quiet and quaint. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made beautiful breakfasts. Exactly what we were looking for.
