3.0Food nice
− No electricity
Guest review
10.0The room was very soecia
− The pool water was cold
Amazing animals, beautiful setting, but let down by dust, insects and inconsistent electricity supply.
5.0The environment, the animals and the staff were very friendly
− The room was very dusty (walls and ceiling/thatch), especially the thatched roof, and it made us uncomfortable about potential insects—and sure enough, we found a huge spider in the morning. In addition, the electricity kept cutting out, making the experience very frustrating.

10.0The elephant interaction was amazing. My daughter lovec it. When I requested gir a room with a view they gladly gave us without hesitation.
− There was nothing not to like.
Comfortable stay
8.0This is a tranquil scenic lodge without having to drive too far out from Johannesburg. The staff are helpful, the rooms are clean and the food is good. If you are lucky you get to see the animals roaming around come up to the viewing deck to feed. Will definitely recommend for a short stay!
− The lodge is completely on solar so the electricity trips every now and then depending on the weather however it is manageable. Although the rooms have a rustic charm to them they do need a bit of an update.
