We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the help rendered by the staff in the ryokan!
10.0The ample parking lots available. The caring team there, like the manager Tamada San answered all our queries in English, the meals staff translated Japanese cuisine menu to English for us after the first night when we said we couldn’t understand Japanese menu. The property is also within walking distance to walking trails which were also enjoyable.
− Perhaps the curtains in the room can be double layers as the sun rises early like around 5 and shines into the room.

4.0Nice staff, beautiful view from our room. The onsen was lovely.
− The hotel is worn and old. There is no real bar area, we had to ask reception to order drinks. No atmosphere. Only one set of towels were provided in the room which had to be used for the onsen and showering. An extra fee was required for the private onsen which seems crazy given how much the rooms cost. No ability to cater to dietary requirements. Very, very overpriced.
Very good

Perfect ryokan experience
10.0Our stay couldn't have been better. The staff were amazing from the moment they messaged us to arrange pick-up before our arrival. They also speak some English. The traditional Japanese room was large, immaculate and even had a massage chair! Of course, as it is a ryokan, we got to wear yukata and sleep on comfy futon. I travelled with a relative who was new to Japanese baths and didn't want to bathe naked with strangers, but it wasn't a problem because there were several private baths: three small ones that where you can just walk in and lock the door behind you, and a big beautiful outdoor one that you can book for a small fee (very worth it). The multi-course dinner was delicious, beautiful to look at and an experience in itself. We also enjoyed having a glass of sake in the lounge, which has a beautiful view of the mountains and river and free soft drinks + coffee. This is a great place to experience hot springs and a traditional Japanese inn en route to Kanazawa.
Most memorable onsen experience for us so far.
10.0Quiet and perfect for weekend get-a-way. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will consider coming back next year.
− Wish they can allow us for late check out till 11 am instead of 10 am
