10.0Everything was perfect from start to finish, a welcome greeting on arrival and helped us with our electr6 bikes into the art studio to charge them up. Next morning the breakfast was like a well oiled machine and was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had.
− There was nothing we didn't like, the hosts couldn't be better. They even told us about the village and where to go for a pint

10.0We would be very happy to stay here again. Paul and Sophie are very welcoming, and ensured that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed during our stay. Our room was comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. Choice of quality food available at breakfast, with plentiful hot food cooked to order. Lyndene is well located in a quiet residential area, just a short walk from the town centre. On-street car parking is available if travelling by car.

A very welcoming, comfortable stay.
9.0Our sixth night on the Trans-Pennine cycle trail. Our hosts were fantastic. The property is just outside the very centre of Penistone, a house modernised to a very high level by our hosts. Our room was lovely, as was the bathroom and breakfast. We were given a good recommendation for eating at Cubley Hall - a 20 minute walk, and it's hilly!, but worth the walk for the views over the area. We would certainly stay here again. Visit the statue outside the local library and the churchyard, which has some interesting features.
