Wonderful place but can be noisy
9.0The property was clean, modern and had everything we needed. It was cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable. It was a very short walk to Halki's beautiful water, the shops, supermarkets and to the great restaurants there (especially The Black Sea). The views from the balcony were wonderful.
− There are manhole covers in the path outside the room. When people walked on them they banged loudly. The noise woke us again and again as people came home late at night. There were often other bangs in the building or adjoining buildings and noisy neighbors stayed up late a couple of times. Then, after not having much sleep, the sun rose at 6am and shone straight in through the glass window in the east-facing door that leads to the balcony. There's a lovely modern blind on the door but it did nothing to stop the light. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well which is a pity because otherwise it's a great place. Bring earplugs and eye masks.

10.0Wonderful location excellent host with exceptional cleaning system . Generous provisions to start holiday including 2 bottles of wine . Plentiful coffee pods to start the day .
− The toilets and shower area were a little small but adequate. Sometimes the upstairs sink had a septic smell which may need attention. These are small issues that didn’t detract from our enjoyment.
Fantastic old stone house in perfect location.
9.0Beautifully restored house in a great position, right on the seafront and walking distance to restaurants, shops & beaches. Big, comfy rooms and practical outside space for sunbathing and eating. Fantastic views from the house across the harbour. Really friendly, helpful hosts and generous amounts of complimentary refreshments. We even got given some fresh fish!
− Only a few minor maintenance issues which were being addressed as soon as we mentioned them.
