Worth the journey for the bath alone!
8.0Location was incredible - it's a bit of a journey to get there, but absolutely worth the experience of being away from busy cities and escape more into the rural side of the country. The staff were excellent - very helpful, kind and accommodating - they even drove us back to the train station when we checked out, which was especially nice of them. The room was large, comfortable and had a private bath in the room which was a major plus. Lush!
− Booking included dinner and breakfast, which is nice as long as you're a big seafood fan and adventurous eater. One dinner course was three whole firefly squid, which was a nice local touch, but not to our personal taste. Breakfast was underwhelming.

10.0Magnifique ryokan avec onsen dans la chambre, vue sur la rivière. Les repas étaient excellents, et nous avons même eu le droit à un petit geste pour notre lune de miel.
Absolutely will happily stay again. If you can afford the larger room, you won't be disappointed!!!!
9.0Exquisite room and stunning view. Felt like we time-traveled to a Japan of the previous century. Marvelous staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Exceptionally beautiful inn. Ease of getting to it via the Inn's shuttle bus from the station and the kindness of the staff was so appreciated.
− There's no real outdoor bath. If that matters to you, then you might be a little disappointed. They have two baths and water is silky with a high mineral content, but neither is outside, though one is open to the outdoors.
