10.0A beautiful, unique and rare accommodation. This manor house has been in the same family for several hundred years and this same family still host and staff the house. This home and garden is a real labour of love and history. It is more of a museum than a hotel. The house is graced with beautiful antiques, paintings, plates and murals from centuries gone by. My room was nicely appointed with a good view, a comfortable bed, wifi, good water pressure, and fresh linens. Breakfast included fresh fig jam from the garden. The pool in the garden was a nice place to cool off in the afternoon. The house is a 20 minute drive to the beach. Highly recommend.

8.0my stay was fine, the owner was friendly and helpful but a little impatient. Mainly feel like the cost was too much for what you got. Thought with a 10 rating and that cost it would be over the top amazing. Did not reach my expectations.
A warm welcome in a historic family home
10.0What a fabulous find. A wonderful world away from modern life just an hour and a half from Lisbon. Francisco our host made us so welcome and gave us a fantastic recommendation for a restaurant (Arte e Sal) to watch the sunset. The house is a historic family home full of antiques but the beds are very comfortable and the bathroom has everything you need. We enjoyed the pool for a morning dip before a lovely breakfast and setting off for the coast. I could imagine staying for a few days to enjoy the area but we wanted to press on South. I would definitely stay again and recommend it especially to couples.

10.0Casa de Santiago is a very charming old house that has been owed by proprietor's family for many generations. The decor of the house is very historical, yet very comfortable by modern standards. The proprietors, Rachel and Francisco, were very gracious and went out of their way to make our stay very memorable. We had a very long and engaging conversation on Portuguese culture and history as well as current events throughout Europe and the world. I would highly recommend Casa de Santaigo to anyone wishing to stay in this part of Portugal.
Luxury owners residence
10.0Wow What a spot Up on the top of the town but still in it. Short walk down. Fantastic room in converted bakery alongside pool. Owners residence when not in Lisbon.. what a lovely old house and cool ithout using ac Great cold breakfast on our own! Wife wanted to stay but we had prepaid in Sagres for next 2 nights.. Quite pricey for B&b but worth every penny. Will return
