Beautiful place, amazing experience
10.0Amazing place to stay, I would (and have) recommend to anyone. The river boat tour at night that you can book is also amazing, was an absolute highlight of our trip.

Guest review
10.0Wow what an absolutely special place. We are so happy we went off the beaten track to stay here. The house is absolutely beautiful. The historic features and architecture make you feel like you are stepping back in time. My favourite thing was to sit by the koi pond in the courtyard and watch the little crested birds on the roof. The bed was very comfortable (we had the best sleep of our whole China trip here) and the whole place was so clean. There is a kitchen to prepare meals if you like but we made the most of the incredible local cook who, on request, can come and cook you meals. The meals were so fresh and delicious and healthy and we looked forward to meal time each day! The small village is absolutely beautiful. For us it was much nicer than Guilin, Yangshuo and Xingping because you can enjoy the scenery without the crowds and really relax and take it all in. Just walking by the river we saw the most amazing karst mountain formations with no queues or crowds. The owner, and local contact Haibo were very helpful before and thought our stay. Haibo showed such warmth, hospitality and kindness throughout our stay and quickly helped with any questions or requests we had. Highly recommend this place for a truly peaceful and magical stay. A little slice of heaven.

Good Stay!
10.0This was such a lovely stay compared to the rest of our trip in China. We mostly visited big cities so a small town across the river was a nice change. The staff was wonderful and made some dinner and breakfast for us (with a small fee, which was worth it!) and included some extras because it was my birthday! The rooms were clean and comfortable with no issues encountered the whole time. Would highly recommend a night or even two just to explore the area.
− This is a slower stay compared to the bustling cities we visited so if that's not your vibe then I would rethink it but if it is then it was wonderful!
