10.0Great location right on the shore with private lake access. Clean and tidy, great amenities. Breakfast was fantastic with fully cooked or continental style. Catherine was very hospitable, offered tea/coffee/beer on arrival, showed us some recommended sites and places to eat while we were there. Can’t wait to come back!
Exceptional breakfast and great presentation
10.0We were greeted with a cup of coffee and maps and brochures of things to do and see. Our hosts took time to tell us about the area and things to do. The bed was very comfortable and the room was freshened up each day with clean towels. Excellent service. A choice of three breakfast types was offered and all were very good. You don’t leave feeling hungry that’s for sure.
− The lighting was a little dim , for us anyway, but other than that it was great.
Very welcoming hosts
9.0The hosts (Roger and Catherine) were extremely attentive, from the welcome drinks and snacks on arrival to providing lots of information on what to do in the area. The room was spacious and comfortable with a sofa and patio overlooking their garden. A lovely home-made breakfast with 3 choices was served in their house with views across the lake. Use of the main terrace with lake views was allowed with swimming and use of the kayak also available.
− The house was on the outskirts of Rotorua so it was quite a long walk into Rotorua town centre, but parking was plentiful there.

The spa is available for a NZD 5 fee per night.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
