10.0Our hosts were very friendly and offered advise regarding Storm Amy's approach, where we could see the stags locally (which we did!) and regarding returning via Bealach na Ba which we did in dense cloud on the way in. We took the coast road back as the weather was worsening and the view non existent! Our room was very comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating in the bathroom. The honesty bar was great for stopping in the room (wine, beer, soft drinks, various snacks) - we came away with some of the lovely shortbread. Not to mention the welcome drinks which was a lovely touch. The B&B is right out of Applecross and so we took a drive back to the Applecross Inn for dinner with a lovely view out over the bay. Scottish breakfast was perfect and the locally smoked salmon was fabulous! It set us up for the day with a lovely a walk around Applecross before heading off the beat the incoming Amy.

10.0The drive-in is exhilarating. The owners were charming and incredibly helpful. The place is remote with very nice hiking options. With a little planning there is very good food nearby.

10.0I've stayed in many B&Bs in my life, and I can confidently say this is one of the best experiences I've had. The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!

10.0We had a great 2 day stay. Visited a few shops, hiked and relaxed. Breakfast was amazing, Marion had great tips for local sites to visit.
