The greatest hidden gem
10.0I rarely review properties but HAD to leave a review for this one. My girlfriend and I traveled throughout France and this night was one of the highlights of the trip. It is in a quaint, tiny town with only 1 stop light but a short (and beautiful) drive from Lac de Sainte Croix - where we had spent the day on the lake. The owner of the little inn - a super friendly guy, who carried our bags to our room for us, is also the chef, and cooked us the most incredible meal of the entire trip - the duck was the best i've ever had - as well as breakfast the next morning. We still think about it often. The room was spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom and we had a beautiful view of the sun setting. It was a perfect, quiet and romantic night and we can't wait to go back!
