DON'T BOOK WITHOUT A 4-WHEEL DRIVE
2.0There was a huge breakdown in communication. There is only one way to get to this resort and that is over the beach at low tide. Whilst they provided me with low tide information, they didn't tell me it was the only way to get to the hotel. Had I known this in advance (while booking!), I would not have chosen this hotel. There is no way I would drive over the beach with a rental small car that is not a 4-wheel drive SUV.

6.0The property was a bit run down with little maintenance being done. Was uniquely hard to get to and you are trapped at the hotel by the tides. Extremely friendly staff family the best meals we have had in Ecuador.

4.0It looked good, the beds were comfortable but it was extremely noisy with buses leaving in the middle of the night at the front of the hotel. There was no hot water and the swimming pool was scummy and not kept clean. They seem to be understaffed.
