The worst hotel experience in China
1.0− The worst hotel experience I had in China so far. The rooms we booked were so warm, it was unbearable. The heat came from the hotel's corridors. However, the air-conditioning system is also terrible: it's way too cold and the temperature control does not work at all, so we ended up cooling down the room and turning it off. We ended up waking up multiple times because the rooms became so warm that it was very uncomfortable. We booked our rooms in January and the temperature was around 20 degrees outside... But they warmed up the hotel like a sauna. It made no sense. We booked many hotel rooms in Guangdong and South China before but we never had this issue. Their heating policy and system is totally ridiculous. When we asked about reducing the heating, the staff told us that there was no heating in the hotel... Which was an obvious lazy lie. The service and the communication was just terrible. They simply didn't even try. The next day someone actually told us that the heater was due to the cold weather... This made no sense and they didn't have a way to take feedback positively. We live in South China and never had this situation before.
