A pleasant stay and a good dinner

We needed break and enjoyed a good, peaceful and relaxing time.
8.0We were pleased to find that there was a sofa in the room (couldn't see one in the photos) and that there was a good sized drawer in the bathroom. The bath was lovely too and the room comfortable overall. Easy access, by walking across the road from the hotel, directly into the woods and onto the shingle beach, was a great delight.
− While all meals were of a good portion size, some dishes seemed to be over priced for what they were. We also appreciated that the dining room, bar and lounge areas had been refreshed and updated compared to the photos, but, regrettably, we are not fans of the long bench seating in the dining room. We much prefer individual tables and chairs, and thankfully the restaurant was able to accommodate us.
