A charming and authentic stay in the heart of the Langhe
10.0We stayed at Vitae di Langa for one night and had a truly lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The owner was waiting for us at the agreed time, showed us around the property, accompanied us to our room and kindly offered us a drink. The room was spacious, spotless, quiet and well air-conditioned, with direct access to a small private patio and a beautiful view over the surrounding hills and vineyards. One of the highlights of our stay was the hydromassage pool. It is not very large, but its setting among the vines makes it a truly special, charming and relaxing place. We also had dinner at the property and really enjoyed the simple, traditional cuisine, prepared with care and partly using produce from their own garden, together with wines from their cellar. The prices were very reasonable. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with both sweet and savoury options and several homemade products, including hazelnut cake and peaches in syrup. The property is pet-friendly, which was very important to us as we were travelling with our dog. Vitae di Langa is an ideal place for anyone who wants to experience the authentic character of the Langhe: local food, local wines, beautiful vineyards, peaceful countryside and a genuine rural atmosphere. It is also conveniently located near Alba and the most famous villages of the area, with lovely walks through the vineyards and footpaths leading to nearby towns. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to travellers who appreciate nature, regional cuisine, good wine and the true atmosphere of the Langhe.

10.0Uitermate vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel. Andreas spreekt goed Engels, verder overwegend Italiaans maar deden alles om je te begrijpen. Eten, zowel ontbijt als diner erg goed. Klantvriendelijk Uitermate groot. Heerlijke wijnen hij deze wijnboerderij. Echte aanrader.
