Not quite what it says on the tin as they say
4.0The breakfast was good and hot and the hosts were very nice
− I booked this place because of the photos on the website it looked beautiful unfortunately the condition of the place is a far cry from the reality I thought the garden was a mess and the driveway and frontage were well overgrown I am afraid it needs a lot of TLC and as much as the hosts were really nice I think it is a bit too much for them. The bedroom was okay but I wasn’t keen on the wetroom that we had to mop up after a shower never stayed at a guest house where I have had to do that
We really liked the quiet background and evenings.
8.0It was clean, comfortable and within walking distance of Pickering (15 mins). The owners were welcoming plus there was a lovely breakfast. The star of the show is the dog 😃.
Enjoyed our stay our hosts Carole and Elliot were very welcoming

6.0The location was good and quiet.
− The duvet was stained, there were no toiletries/chocolate as stated on the site. We arrived at 4p.m the room still wasn't ready. We were. Supposed to have the 'Garden View'room, we were put in the front of the house. There is no hand wash basin inside the bathroom, so you have to come out of the bathroom to wash your hands.
Wonderful and peaceful
10.0We had a wonderful stay. Carol and Elliot were the perfect hosts. Very quiet, located just by a small brook. Great breakfast. Lots of parking, close to Pickering Town centre and Station. Friendly pet dog (called Nutty). Quiet relaxing orchard seating.

10.0The hosts were lovely (including Nutty the dog!) and the house is in a beautiful quiet little spot. Very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was delicious! Would absolutely stay again
