Traditional French experience
10.0This is a beautiful, old traditional house to stay in. Madam is a wonderful host & staying with her is a truly authentic French experience. Her personal touches & pride in the service she offers is evident in everything she does. This was our second visit & certainly won’t be our last

Unfortunate circumstances
2.0Arrived at La Forge approximately an hour later than estimated, but wasn't too concerned as we had been informed the host was in all evening. Arrived at 2020 hrs to find no one in. Waited outside for 45 mins, then found alternative accommodation for the night. A note on the door would have sufficed, as we could have gone and eaten whilst waiting.
