6.0I should have really taken the advise from former guest. My welcome to check in was not nice, guy was rude and not willing to compromise to make my stay better. I was warned multiple times about making noise as if I was going to party in my room. Road to get there was really bad.

8.0Nice location in La Punta area, along the beach from Montanita and therefore more peaceful than in town. Close to best surf so good for watching surfers.Very nice Thai/sushi restaurant next door, although fewer dining options at this end of the beach, esp if on a budget. Accommodation was nice - rustic bamboo cabin with thatch roof, although there were some issues with damp/smell from drains which the new management were aware of and tried to assist with. Aircon in room wasn't working, so only had fan function, but wasn't a major issue for me. Nice setting only yards from beach, hammock outside room. Relaxing stay.
