Power was out and property unlivable, StayAU property manager agreed to refund payment but never did
1.0We arrived to find power out and property unlivable. StayAU responded to our calls quickly and agreed to cancel and refund the booking.
− We arrived to find power out and property unlivable. StayAU agreed to cancel and refund. They claimed to have processed the refund. However StayAU never refunded the payment to booking.com so they wouldn't refund and we're out $700. Buyer beware: If you book a property managed by StayAU and there is a problem, you will NOT get your money back!

Nice cottages, but lacked amenities that were promised at booking
7.0The cottage itself and the location are absolutely beautiful and feel almost magical.
− The cottages lacked several amenities that were promised at booking. My booking stated there would be breakfast included, when I arrived I was told that there was no breakfast service since COVID. So we had to change our entire plans on shortest notice to organize breakfast for ourselves. The place further lacked robes and slippers that were promised as amenities, and the tub missed it's plug, rendering it unusable during our stay.

10.0Hubby and I have been coming here now for 21 years and this little oasis is a great getaway to completely unwind.
