10.0The tenants were incredibly warm and welcoming upon first arrival. They offered advice on how to navigate the public transport in the Lake District to enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of all the towns. Furthermore, the breakfast was unlike anything I’ve ever had before. As it’s included in the price, I am so grateful that I chose to stay here during my visit. There are a variety of options, ranging from gluten free, non-dairy, continental and cooked. The sautéed mushrooms were my favourite, and I cannot wait to visit again. If I could give a rating higher than 5 out of 5 stars, I would!

10.0What a lovely place to stay in central Keswick. Jon is a superb host and Emma's cooked breakfast is amazing. The recently refurbished single room has everything you need and the private modern bathroom with a great shower is just down the stairs (bathrobe provided). Everything was clean and tidy both in the room and communal areas. It was great value especially with the discount for booking more than 5 nights. The electronic check-in process works well as does breakfast ordering. There is free parking on the nearby roads - I parked up when I arrived and didn't move my car until I checked out. There is great walking from the doorstep. I had hoped to return in 2027 but they remodelling Greystoke over the winter and the single room will be no-more in 2027 :-(
