10.0Beautiful house, great location........ felt like being part of another era. Check-in was simple and just as described. Breakfast another nice inclusion. If travelling with lots of luggage, opt for a ground floor room

10.0We stayed in the Welman Room for the 1st and last day of our visit to Tasmania. Highfield House is conveiently located to downtown and restaurants. It is also only ~10-15min to the airport. This is a historic house that has been converted to a B&B and has lovely touches and is a beautiful place. Welman Room had a private bathroom, which was convenient. There was also free parking on site. We also enjoyed the breakfast - fresh croissants, soft boiled eggs, cheeses, yogurt/cereal, cheeses, etc. Lovely and highly recommend for those interested in staying in a unique accommodation with real local flavor.

8.0old but in amazing condition. highest quality amenites. one of the best breakfasts i've ever had! But there's some noise from outside in the early morning (cars, garbage trucks..) you might wake up to.
