Perfect location but needs some upkeep
8.0The location is amazing! So peaceful and private. Right on the beach! Raul is such a great host! The BnB itself is a beautiful building. The view from our veranda was stunning!
− Water pressure in the shower is not good. The breakfast is lacking any healthy options. There is mold in the shower.

Poor experience
1.0The cleaners were nice
− Would strongly advise not staying here. The place itself is nice enough, though it’s a bit strange since you’re in a home that’s been sectioned off to try and create a hotel atmosphere and you feel like you’re creeping around in someone else’s home trying not to disturb anyone. We were also overcharged by 200 pesos, when we raised the issue, the manager told us she had calculated the conversion using the selling rate of MXN to USD from their local bank rather than the daily market exchange rate that Booking.com specifies. After raising the issue with the manager on whatsapp the cleaner brought us an envelope with 20-pesos inside which obviously didn’t come close to correcting the error. The manager was no where to be seen for the rest of our stay. In two months of travelling through Mexico we have not had a problem like this. The property provides one 300 ml bottle of water per person which is an issue as the nearest place to buy water is over an hours walk away. so when you arrive you either sacrifice a chunk of your day hiking to a shop and carrying a massive water vessel back, or pay for an expensive taxi ride into town just to buy drinking water. For the price we paid, this felt incredibly unreasonable. Breakfast the next day was another low point. The fruit was moldy and rotting, we only noticed after tasting something sour and spitting it out. The cereal was also stale and had to be thrown out. When we brought this up, the manager told us she would let the housekeeper know, then berated us passive aggressively, asking us to only allowed eat one waffle each as a courtesy to the other guests. We quote “If there are 6 waffles, that's 1 per person. Similarly, the ham and cheese slices, 2 slices of bread, and 1 box of cereal are provided per person… I ask that tomorrow you only take your allotted portion.
