Gorgeous Property, Disappointing Policies.
7.0Summer Senses is a good-looking resort. The property is well designed and the two pools are huge, with plenty of space to swim or lounge. The rooms are nice, and ours came with a small private pool, which was convenient in the afternoon heat. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety of fresh options. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
− The location is out of the way, so you really need a car to make the most of your stay. The closest beach belongs to a separate beach club where you have to pay for loungers and chairs. You would think a high-end resort like this would arrange access for its guests, but no. Lunch and dinner options at the resort were very limited and not that good. Your best bet is the fishing village of Piso Livadi for great food — but getting there means either a 20-30 minute walk through dirt roads and trails or a 10 minute drive. My biggest issue was the pricing. This was the most expensive resort of our entire Greece vacation, yet it was the only one that charged us an extra 40 euros per day — 160 euros total — for having a child over the age of 2. We didn't receive an upgraded room, and my daughter certainly doesn't eat 40 euros' worth of breakfast. The only "extras" were a small robe and slippers. During the booking process, some sites listed my child as two while others listed her true age, and of the ones that listed her as two, ONLY Summer Senses charged us extra because of her age. If there had been a kids club or any activity for her to benefit from, I could have accepted the charge. But adding a surcharge like this on top of an already premium-priced resort is cheap and tacky.
Relaxing family vacation
10.0Staff was especially friendly and remembered us. Special mention to the manager who constantly went out of his way to help. Transport drivers were excellent.

Guest review
7.0We had a pleasant stay overall, but considering the price, we expected much more from a five-star luxury resort. The hotel’s exterior is beautiful, with lovely pools and landscaped grounds. However, the lobby and guest rooms feel quite dated and could benefit from a renovation. There are three swimming pools, but due to the strong winds that are common in Paros and the hotel’s location, the water was too cold to enjoy. Having at least one heated pool would make a significant difference. It was also disappointing that access to the sauna requires an additional fee, especially in a five-star hotel, and there is no jacuzzi available. We were traveling with a baby, and the cot provided was more like a basic camping crib without adjustable height. It was very uncomfortable to put the baby in and out, so throughout the vacation he ended up sleeping in our bed instead. On the positive side, the rooms were impeccably clean, housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of high-quality options. The pool service was attentive, although at times it felt a bit excessive. Staff would often come to clear plates while we were still eating, which made the experience feel slightly rushed. Overall, the hotel has many strengths, but given its premium price, we expected more modern facilities and amenities that better reflect a true five-star luxury experience.
