Die Lage war etwa 15 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt, was für uns völlig in Ordnung war. Was etwas ärgerlich ist, es sind keine Parkmöglichkeiten an der Wohnung, nur sehr teure Parkgebühren. Für uns war das kein Problem haben ein entferntes Parkhaus empfohlen bekommen, für Gehbehinderte Menschen eher schlecht.

Boes was very helpful, kindly offered to pick up/drop off at the station without even having to ask. We had the entire house to ourselves, fully equipped with everything we needed and even more. It was cosy, spacious enough to gather a few friends and enjoy time with the group. It has a tiny little cute back garden as well. Location is perfect if you like green space, the city park is 2 mins away. It was well heated in the cold snowy weather outside.

A lovely few days in Groningen at Puur Geluk!

The personal contact with host, Boes, was very pleasant, much nicer than an impersonal key box! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm and practical. The big living-room/kitchen gives onto a patio - great for relaxing outside (or watching the birds from inside) and great for providing lots of light inside. The decor is artistic and tasteful. Puur Geluk is in a quiet area, near a lovely park and is a short walk to Groningen Noord station or only a slightly longer walk into the centre of town. Two interesting elements : washbasins in the bedrooms, and for cooking - a gas hob : unusual these days and perfect!

− Two minor points : we were surprised that there was no freezer compartment in the fridge. And there was no microwave oven - unusual, but we didn't miss it.
