Lovely historical spot. Great hosts
7.0History and hosts
− Air conditioning was not working,
A must stay again!
10.0The Location was very central to everything, well within walking distance to all the main attractions offered in downtown, The Host and his wife were the epitome of history, regarding this B&B which was built in 1890 and is one of four original homes that are left in the area. it has a sorted tale behind it as well. Wonderful information.
− The history the building itself, all the little trinkets and Nic-Nac's strategically placed about the house.
The place to stay upon our return.
10.0Lovely owners! Amazing Service! Exceptional breakfast!
Comfortable stay in a beautiful historic home
10.0What an enjoyable stay, my only complaint is that I had only one night to spend there. Photos can't do this historic home justice, and I really enjoyed that Tom (the owner with his wife Jeanne) took the time to provide a tour and share the fascinating history of the house as well as the neighborhood. I stayed in the Warren suite. It was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed with anything you could need, from towels and toiletries to rain ponchos. I can be finicky about beds and found this one very comfortable for a good night's rest. The home is located in a bustling area of the city so along with that comes some city noise but ear plugs are provided and I had no issue falling asleep. Breakfast was a special treat. Jeanne made a delicious souffle served with sides of sausage, bacon, fruit, homemade cinnamon rolls, and homemade cookies in baggies to go. And she played piano as we ate. I definitely hope to stay again in the future!
A lovely visit
