Idyllic garden
9.0Set in magnificent gardens which you are free to explore before and after the day trippers have left. We had a picnic in the garden for dinner and our hostess provided blankets, water, plates and cutlery. Lovely young woman (unfortunately I have forgotten her name) served us a delicious breakfast. Nice rooms.

10.0Very well hosted by the staff, felt special to have access to the beautiful gardens after hours. We were kindly provided cutlery and crockery to eat a gourmet picnic we had brought. Such a serene setting.

Spring Storm & Chateau de la Foltière = Wuthering Heights Experience!
9.0The chateau was a perfect snapshot in time. The rooms were sumptuously decorated in the 19th century style. During our visit we experienced a wild spring rainstorm with lightening which amplified the Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights feel of the experience. We loved everything about the experience.

9.0Le cadre est magnifique, aussi bien le parc que le château ! Les employés sont très agréables et accueillants. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et très copieux. C'est vraiment un bel endroit !
