Enjoyed ou Grape House Stay
8.0Our stay was quite nice. We were met by the caretaker who gave us our key. We paid in advance since this hotel does not gave a desk clerk. We asked for more tea bags, which we received with no problem before he left The shower and hot water were great. The entire bathroom was clean and contained small bottles of bath wash and shampoo. The tv stations were almost all jn Arabic but we did find one with English/American movies. We fou d the bed to be firm and comfortable.

2.0I couldn't find the property. Apparently it is back off a main street, there are plenty of tiny alleyways but I couldn't even find a place to park to walk arouind to find it. It was getting late so I made another reservation and stayed there. Ugh.

10.0Great location - you’ll feel like a local right in the heart of Old Town Jaffa. Easy walking distance to museums, food, etc.
Nice Quiet Hotel in a Nice Quiet Town
10.0The Old City of Akko is a very small and quiet area. Our room was large and clean. A 5 minute walk from "everything". The hotel works in coordination with the larger Efiendi Hotel across the way (it is not a street) and this worked out really well. We took the train from Tel Aviv, but going home on Saturday we took the ferry boat to Haifa and then a "sherut" taxi.....better than waiting to 8 in the evening The owner of the hotel also has a very nice restuarant in the port which I recommend highly.
Very bad experience; left in the middle of night.
2.0(from our complaint email) 1) False advertising. We booked a Deluxe Room, with a Queen Bed and a Sofa bed. Yet as the image below shows, we did not receive the promised sofa bed. In addition, The Grape House's page in hotels stated that it has free car parking, which was a decisive factor in our decision to book it. However, no such parking was available, and so we had to park, for a fee, 800 meters away from the hotel. 2) Abysmal conditions. The room, especially around the bed, was extremely dusty. Image attached. Furthermore, there was black mold on the walls, images attached. This combination made the room uninhabitable for us, since one of us has respiratory allergies, and had struggled to breath while in the room. Thus we left it at midnight of our first night (out of the 2 we ordered), and in fact did not even stay there for a single night. We notified the staff of our decision while leaving, and got no informative response.
