10.0Absolutely fantastic historical hotel. It was a history lesson right in front of us. Beside that we had Crystal and China glasses and cups. The rooms were better than excellent with all the comforts and more. The breakfast was great. We highly recomnend this place.
Best stay in Arromanches-les-Bains
10.0Best stay in Arromanches-les-Bains (in Normandie)! A well-kept building from 1850 where they have kept the style, weathered doors and old windows. Fantastic host/hostess! Fantastic collection of WW2 memeromobilia in the entire house. The atmosphere is unbeatable!

8.0There are some issues with this location. Apparently, Normandy is a fairly rural location, and taxi service is poor at this facility. We also arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the car rental company was closed for the weekend. We had arranged thru the facility owner to have a taxi waiting at 0645 when we departed and it arrived an hour late and we missed our train and flight.

10.0An exceptional hotel experience. Paul is a fantastic host with a deep knowlegde of the fascinating artifacts in this almost museum hotel. My kids (20 & 13) that it was the most interesting hotel they ever stayed at. It is an ideal base for exploring the D-day beaches. We would like to return!

10.0Jean Marie’s passion for WWII era planes, equipment and stories — and his willingness to show off his curated collection makes this little hotel a gem in Normandy. Our room was large and the bathroom modern. We loved it!
