Very highly priced, with no communal facilities, barking dogs meant little sleep
8.0Location was central and easy access to Padstow town, the hill walk to the hotel may be difficult for some. Breakfast was served in the room in the form of a hamper each morning, although for a top hotel with high rates, there should have been choices rather than the set breakfast that was provided. Staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful.
− Rooms had no air conditioning and were very hot, noise coming from outside, church bells all night, seagulls and barking dogs, had no choice other than keeping the windows open because of the heat. The outside temperature was only about 20 degrees whilst we stayed but still the rooms were hot and stuffy. The hotel allows dogs to stay in the lower two rooms but one of the dogs barked every time there was a noise outside all night.
